As a future Digital Marketer, I find myself fascinated with meme culture. I started my meme adventure as a young boy in high school when Vine came out. If you aren't familiar with Vine, it was a social media app that came out around 2014 and would allow users to play looping six-second videos. It was unimaginable that so many different types of content could be created with the limitation of just six seconds, but to everyone's amazement, it happened. I even tried to make some myself. 1. Snapchat can already act like a basic phone I never realized this until one of my friends told me this amazing fact. Let's start with the basic OG features given on Snapchat. You can send pictures and videos to your friends in a very easy and simple way (I would even say easier than iMessage). Later, Snapchat included the feature that allows you to send regular text messages to friends if you aren't in a good location to take a selfie. Finally, that leaves us with phone calls and video calls. If you're unaware, on the same screen that texting is available, you are able to simply press one button, and it will immediately call or video call the person.
